Knit Execution
My back to the wall,
I’m waiting for the bullet
from your loaded gun!

If I liked to dress dramatically for evening soirees, I might choose a sexy off the shoulder, body hugging lycra knit evening gown. But, what’s with this pose? The photo belongs on the cover of a bodice ripper!

  1. I LOVE your haiku!
    They are the high point
    Of my otherwise dreary day.

  2. ooooooo I really like that dress. Granted, I could never wear something like that. Heck I’m at least twice her size. lol But man is it beautiful. I like the pose too. I can’t say why. I agree that it looks like something from the cover of a romance novel. Oh but to look like that in a dress like that. hehe

  3. Hi Martha! I’m glad you like the haiku. I’m just knitting stockinette, it’s spring, so actually showing my knitting would be pretty boring right now!

Becky, the dress is definitely sexy on her. I’d wear the dress to the right occasion — if one arose. I might even knit the fabric by machine and then cut and sew. Still, I’m amazed it’s published as a hand knit pattern. I’d never knit that by hand. Other than the hip drape, it’s a lot of fine gauge unshaped stockinette. It would be pretty boring to knit by hand!
